General - Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance found in human connective
tissues. It contributes to the tightness of the skin. Restylane works by virtue of
its volume and serves as a filler. As Restylane is commercially available it requires
no harvesting procedure and should be regarded as a medical rather than a surgical
cosmetic treatment. Restylane (Hyaluronic acid) is totally bio degradable. It lasts
approximately one year and after that period further injections can be done if you
so desire. The product is available with several chemical variations used for different
indications (filling fine lip wrinkles, plumping up thin lips, filling checks etc.)
Restylane injections are often used simultaneously with Botox, Laser treatment to
the face and various other plastic surgery procedures.
Considering Botox injections or Restylane? Thinking of a non surgical face
lift?
